Nice to meet you all!
It's about time I share the tale of Jshoujo's history!
One day, a little sixteen years old girl fell in love with manga. She really became addicted to manga, and she just couldn't help herself but reading reading reading tons of manga. But she wasn't satisfied at all. Until the day an idea came to her mind. "I will open a new website", she said to herself. And that's what she did. But her website had to be different from the others. Her website had to be a place where shoujo fans could find the answers to their needs. And that's what Jshoujo is about.
Jshoujo is a website that provides you news related to the Japanese world. Since many of shoujo fans can't read Japanese but of course want to know what is going on over there, we try to give you the most useful informations about shoujo manga right from Japan.
The Monthly release section provides information about the most famous shoujo series which are being released in Japan.
The Magazines section wants to let you know about the current series which are running in Japan with the help of scanlations.
The Summary section wants to help you to get in touch with a new series that deserves to be known.
The wallpapers section wants to spoil you all!
Of course we would like to still grow but we need as much help as possible!
After Jshoujo, Jshoujo Scans came. Jshoujo Scans is a part of Jshoujo dedicated to scanlations. We want to share with you some of the most interesting series published in Japan, but of course you also have to support the mangaka by buying the original copy when it becomes available in your area. We are fans who want to share our love for shoujo manga. That's all.
But since we weren't born as a scanlations group, we will only focus on a short number of projects. There are already too much scanlations group around here, don't you think?
We still want to be different from everybody else!
Thank you for reading this introduction! And thank you for supporting us, we really couldn't last so long without you! (5 years already passed, lol!)
